3- I have had some experience using GPS, GIS, GPR, and aerial imagery. With this background, the ability to accurately create a map should be both challenging due to application but manageable.

4- With the experience I have had with GIS, the assignment moved along very nicely. However, there was definitely some learning involved in data organization and normalization.

More guidance in the lab. The demo and the specifics of the lab were very different and the learning curve is very large when it comes to the software. Maybe demo more or lower the lab requirements.
